so finally after years of abuse with close to 400hp, my n/a 5spd finally broke
coming off the freeway, stopped at the light. turned left once green. driving easy, shifted to second and then floored it once fully engaged. got to about 19 - 20psi not even full power. 4,500 rpm's ripped all the teeth right off the gear.
2 blown transmissions, time for number 3. WRX gear set with 5k miles on rebuild.
lets see how this one holds up.....

damn everyone's blowing up there drive train parts! well at least i'm not alone. if i had to swap out the tranny every couple of months because they kept going bad I would go the smart route and save up for a 6spd. hell with wasting the money on 5spd's.
my plan was once I finished my Supra, I was going to change alot of stuff on the sedan. but now I might bump the time frame up cause its going to drive me nut's not being able to drive my baby.
sigh..... shit.
