How big of wheels and tires can i go on my 92 legacy sport awd without having to modify to make it not rub lol

I run 205/55/16 on WRX wheels, you can go bigger though.

I have 04 STI struts and 205/40 ZR17 and i do not rub unless i have all my tools in the trunk.

I rock 205/60/15 with no rubs ever

If you have FWD you will rub in rear with 215/45/17

so if i run 205/50 17s it wont rub on my strut tower eather?

When I got 225s (225/50-16 +53) I had to roll the fenders a bit. I was on sti struts which provide more clearance in that direction.

what year of sti struts would work on my 92 legacy? would any wrx struts work and have the same clearance either? did u roll the back fendors out to?

I need some wheel help!
