Newb here from NC(first time posting!!)

Hi all, Just purchased my first Legacy( 1991 SS) from a forum member here. Iv had 2 STi's and a wrx so Im new to the ej22t. I thought this would be a good place for my first post being I will be performing a close to "frame off" resto on this car. The car is currently in good condition but is going to be a project for sure!

I am overwhelmed from the amount of information here!!! I will try to post my questions in the appropriate threads/topics but I was wondering if there was a currently list of wrx/sti parts that will swap to this car? I have so many questions I could ramble on and on but Ill keep it short for now. I will try to post some before pics ASAP

May be a few links would be helpful, Iv tried using the search bar but only come up with specific ramblings that are far beyond my current goals.....

Apparently I have a wealth of JDM/Australian parts that came with this car that are extremely rare as well.....

My current focus will be on stripping down the car and prepping it for the paint and body work. After that I will be doing a few mods and I post those questions in the respectable topics.

Welcome to the BBS.

There are some parts that are interchangable or can be made to work from the WRX/STi, however there is not a prescribed list of "this works". Typically the GC series Impreza stuff is pretty compatible, while the later GD series starts to get less compatible, and the same is true with the current series WRX.

As far as frame up restores, you may want to check out this guy's build thread.

THanks for the welcome! I have read that thread Hands down awesome job. He started to loose me when he was doing some serious fab/re build work. I want to stay original with the body for now and do some light mods later on. But insane props with going down to shell....

Yeah, as far as cross over mods may be ill keep researching and will compile a list myself and post later
