Good +5v source inside the cab?

Anyone know off hand of a good place to tap +5v inside the cab?
I would imagine the ecu has at least one...but does it run anywhere in the cab or just to sensors under the hood...?

Never mind. ..bought some 5v regulators and supporting parts, along with a 3-circuit terminal block so I can wire up a nice source for +12v, +5v, and ground for all in-cab wiring.
Also found my label maker so I can leave tags on wires that dont fade immediately!

What are you using +5v for?
Typically the ECU +5v is a reference voltage for sensors.

Reference voltage for fcd voltage divider, power for various 5v goodies and experimental microcontroller projects... id rather nor draw current from the ecu reference anyway.

I agree, having a separate supply is best.
