Legacycentral OKTOBERFEST Oct. 19-20
NW Legacycentral peeps,
How does a LegacyCentral Oktoberfest celebration/get together/swap meet/wrenching/campout sound? It sounds awesome, thats how.
I have a new place in Tenino with plenty of room for any who wish to come out and spend a weekend in the country. So clear your schedule for the weekend of Oct. 19/20, bring a friend, bring a tent and come for a good time.
PM me for details, if you're interested.
Attendees:
1: randomiam
2: mike-tracy
3: dscoobydoo
4: originalcyn
5: free5t1e
6: beaconhillkilla (maybe)
7: robertpaige (maybe)
And here is but a sampling of some parts I have that could be for sale,
for the right price, of course.

Okay, I'm liking the interest so far. I'll start a list of attendees on OG post.
If anyone is interested, we could also get a list going of available parts to bring/parts WTB.

Re: Legacycentral gathering Oct. 19-20
Depending on where I am with my projects at the time, I can probably make it up for a day to chill - Saturday? I've got some parts too, although not cataloged..... I'll probably just end up bringing some boxes that I know have parts in them.
My new job is awesome but demands a lot of time from me, so I'll have to see how that weekend looks. I want to go!

Hell yeah! Chris, maybe we can ride up together, wish I still had my baby to take up. I remember the pizza meet we had in Seattle was pretty sweet. This sounds like a good time.

Re: Legacycentral gathering Oct. 19-20
I haven't yet heard from Kimo or CJ, but I can't imagine them not being here.
If anyone wants to bring beer or, uhm, other medication, I'm okay with it. I just ask that you be respectful with it as despite being legal, it can still get some people fired.
I'll have some beer and provide food, but if anyone wants to bring anything else, that'd be great. I'm thinking either spaghetti feed or tacos. Any other ideas?

But of course, respectful it is! Just thought it'd be polite to share.
Pasta sounds brilliant.
Cool, Robert, I'll text you later this week and you can tell me what rdm is. Lol if there's a meet I should be at I can do something about that.

Chris, maybe i'm getting you confused... I thought you had a winestone 92' SS with a 91' front end.. no? Haha if not then whoops.
RDM is Red Door Meet underneath the Morrison bridge on the East Side, every sunday at 6pm, it's a freakin HUGE meet, also Subaru only meet at Americas Tire, every other Mondays at 7 off 185th Ave in Hillsboro, and then Every other Wednesday at Clackamas Town Center 6pm.

Oh, snap! I'm missing out on all kinds of meets! I'll have to get out there and check it out!
Nope I've got the white '94 SS with the overly-large blaaaaaaaaaack STi scoop that now only feeds my turbo chimney. No worries lol, so many Legacies to keep track of! I could think of worse problems.

Re: Legacycentral gathering Oct. 19-20
Hey, just curious.... would there possibly maybe be enough room at the gathering, and would it be cool, if I were to attempt to do some sort of spray-can matte black paint job on my car while we're hangin out?
Would anyone be into that? Or actually I'm not set on matte black but am open to suggestions...I'm totally down to arrive at the meet in a white car and leave in a different color
Maybe paint my brake calipers red for the extra +25 HP? hehe

Re: Legacycentral gathering Oct. 19-20
I'm not sure I'll have enough room in my garage by then to paint a car. There's more than enough room to do it outside, but I'm pretty sure it won't be warm or dry enough for it to turn out.

Yeah that would be cool, if anyone has something they wanna do that requires extra hands i'm more than down to get something done! It would be the perfect time, a garage full of people who know these cars like the back of their hand.
