my new legacy!

Post by ugaucin »

My new turbo wagon. I got one good deal with this one. Couldn't let it pass by. I got it today, with 175xxx everything works great. Run great. Just needs a little work on the power steering problem. But for 900$ I don't care.

I always search junk yards like upullnpay. I've noticed that the turbo legacy's have a different "subaru" badge compared to n/a badges, I may be wrong though. As for the "turbo awd", I've found one off a post-facelift ss but since it was outdoors, it got weathered a bit and when I tried taking it off, it kinda warped, then I tried bending it back and it snapped... But that's my two cents, let us know if you find a supplier :)

I ordered the badges for mine from Subaru Genuine Parts.com. I think it was $35 shipped for the set. No chance of finding them in a yard over here.

Car looks great btw. Looks like like you got an awesome deal!

Yeah I ordered a turbo badge from SGP. I'm not sure if there are any left in the country. Shoot them an email or call.

Well guys I have been slacking on updating my post. So the vf11 on tw went out around 2 months ago. So It's been sitting. I have gathered up all the parts for the a td04 swap. Already pulled out the vf11, It had some really bad up and down shaft play. So it's done for. Should be putting in the td04 this week if i get time off of work. The only questions I had were: can i use the same oil in line? and how do i reroute the f pipe?

Nasty VF11:
