Helpful info needed about 93 wagon rear speaker replacement.

Post by jmfpEJ22T »

Hey everyone, i recently just replaced my front speakers with polk db651 speakers and also replaced the wires and i love the way it sounds but thats only the front. Anyone sitting in the back still thinks i have a shitty system. Ive been dreading doing the back ones.... they look very hard to get to and ive seen on another forum somewhere that it doesnt fit all 6.5 speakers so it worries me to buy another set if it doesnt fit. Can anyone please give me some helpful info on this?

Back ones were not difficult at all. I believe we put 6.5 inch speakers in the back of our 94 L wagon.

Yup just pull off the "mesh" cover it pops off..and then remove the 3 or 4 little screws and its out...the speakers i put in fit fine except the holes didnt line up so i just drilled new ones it was no big deal IMHO

This is the size that I have in mine, and it's pretty tight.
