EJ22T in OBDII car

Post by Jutboy »

I've been trying to find a 93-95 impreza for my EJ22T for too long now.

Is it possible to put it an newer impreze? do you have any recommendations on which years might be better or worse (I have a fully running 98 impreza OB currently). Lastly do you have any idea what is going to cause the most problems with the transition (I assume certain sensor are going to be huge pain to work).

If it matters I have the EJ22T wiring harness.

Thanks for your thoughts - J

While this isn't an Impreza it's an OBD2 car.

There are a couple other threads out there as well. Bottom line, is that if your state requires annual inspection with an OBD2 reader, you may have issues getting it inspected.
