Issue?

Post by devilzdriver »

So, i finally got back out to the dirt. Did my 1st rallyx course in over a year and we had a HUGE AREA with one part being a full size dirt oval. i noticed i kept hearing this weird clunking noise coming from the front driver side. My car has about 305k i have replaced the suspension, tie rods / ends, and group n trans and engine mounts and also top hats. The biggest thing i noticed was when i turned in our hit loose sections it almost felt like i would loose all steering then it would come back. So does anyone have any idea what it could be? I was thinking maybe ball joint?

I would jack the front end up and use a pry bar to see if you can move the lower control arm around in the spindle, which would indicate a worn ball joint.
