well now my subie will only boost to 9 psi. had a boost leak test today and they found no leaks then they put it in drive and held the brakes to make a load and they said its hissing at the actuator. so if it's truely bad would this work.

Which turbo do you have installed on your car? What are you using to control boost?

How much boost were you making before your problems occur.

Do you have any codes stored in the ECU?

Are you using the stock boost control, manual boost controller, or aftermarket electronic boost controller?

Which coupler?

If it's ballooning under boost, it may also be leaking under boost.

inbetween the tmic and the throttle body. i changed that to day and still only 9 psi and slowly drops the longer i hold the throttle. i'm also getting the wastegate fllutter noise when i power brake. going to try to adjust the actuator arm tomorrow. then going to replace the waste gate actuator its self if the adjustment doesnt help

How much did you adjust it? Was it loose before?

I'd probably wait and see if that fixes things or if you need to turn it again sometime in the future.
