WRX Dash Install

Hello all! New to the forum and new to being a Legacy owner. Experienced swapper with quite a few STI/WRX GC swaps under my belt. Current project is a 94 Legacy Wagon that I'm attempting a full WRX swap on and I'm wondering if anyone knows what exactly is needed to use the WRX dash in the BF. I know most everything mechanically will be plug and play but I noticed today when I stripped the car out that the dash bar is very different. I have used the search and searched the web quite a bit and while the topic is mentioned, nothing I've found has gone into detail. Any info you guys could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the BBS.

You'll want to talk to cj91legss. He did this swap and can give you a lot of feedback/info. I'd suggest checking out his build thread as a first starting point.

It's quite a bit of a task for sure. You'll probably figure it out quicker than I did. It was my first dash swap ever.

One thing I did not do is use the full bar from the wrx. I just used the stock legacy half bar. This is a big mistake. I have the full bar to install sometime soon.

Oh so the full bar from the WRX fits? That's good to know!
