Air Condition oil?

So for 134 I guess pag 100 is what to use? The rebuild compressor came with something like pag 45 or 50 don't remember for sure. So do I leave that, or do I drain it and use pag 100 in the compressor before installing it?
The pag # is the viscosity I think, so I would think drain the thicker stuff out?

I used PAG 100, and yes the number refers to the viscosity.

I drained the oil from the compressor and put new PAG 100 in when I did my conversion. I had read somewhere in the past year or two about someone using something other than PAG 100, but I don't recall the details.

This was the post I was thinking of. I guess use the information as you see fit. I'd still likely use PAG 100.

There is an additive you can add along with the PAG100 as well... trying to remember the name and brand. Something like ICE32, works really really well.

I'm not too fond of additives, but I guess they have their place.

The shop that did the conversion said he uses PAG 100 and I have seen other info on using that in the old subaru's. So that is what I will use.
I've taken out all the ac stuff and done a good flush, and since it is not recommended to flush the compressor its likely best to just replace with a rebuilt one. I just wish the rebuilder for the compressor would not add the oil. The link did not work.

Are you saying the link I posted above didn't work?

If so, try it again. We're still working out some issues with the software.
