This guy is in for a world of hurt! He doesn't even mention SUV's and their people killing power. What a moron.

I say we all get some torches and baseball bats and hunt this guy down!

Seriously, the safety problem is not overly fast cars, the problem is people that are too incompetent to be behind the wheel of any car.

And this list!!! Brian, well said! I would much rather have some stupid soccer mom be behind the wheel of a Miata than any SUV!

A Mustang, too fast?

Does this guy have contact info? I will in all honesty give him a piece of my mind...

Last time I checked, Even the smallest hatchback econobox was capable of 70mph. Smoking crack indeed. Dont get me started on SUV's.

Right, I saw someone traveling at 3-5mph hit a pedestrian that was clearly visible and hurt the persons knee pretty bad. Speed and power has nothing to do with it.

Hi everone, this is my first post here.

As regards this thread, this is a wind up. It is rediculous, on purpose, it almost word for word mirrors legislation banning assault type weapons.

It has a serious side - if it is a silly idea regarding cars, isn;t it equally silly if it is applied to guns?

'cause they won't stop at guns - you may be next.

"Which by its appearance" I am almost speechless. Then "Performance tires" that help you stop faster corner better and avoid that wreck. I think we should BAN STUPIDITY, or at least not allow them to breed. Maybe banish them to Canada. The car doesn't make someone a reckless driver . You can be reckless in a Yugo!!! FREAKING safety NAZI's want to tell me how I should live.

Sure... Send them all up here.... As if we don't have enough trouble with the ones we've already got! :D

Boy, would I love to see what this guy uses for transportation. To write something like this... it had better be a bicycle. You can take just about anything (be it good or bad) and if it is used improperly, it can be harmful. This is probably one of those people who feel that guns kill. It's not the gun retard, it's the idiot behind it who kills. Just my two cents.
