Legacy Air suspension and XT6 air suspension

I have a chance to get a very low mileage xt6. The biggest issue is a non functioning air suspesnion. My question would be, is the air suspension from the legacy and xt6 the same parts?

More specifically I guess I want to know if I could use struts and strut tops from a legacy? I guess it wouldnt be too hard to find an old XT for the swap but a legacy would be easier to find.

The xt6 is a 5 speed and it only has less than 100k miles

I sorta don't think it would work as the Legacy and XT6 are completely different generation of car.

You're best bet would be to probably use struts & springs for the XT6.

I'd go over on the 80's side of the USMB and ask over there. They seem to be pretty good place for the older stuff.

I dont know, the xt was out until 1991 and the air suspension system looks very similar. The car I speak of is an 89. The XT has to have the coolest interior of any legacy I have seen, just slightly dated.

There is probably similarities between the two.

The legacy was supposed to be completely gone over and designed from the ground up. So I don't think there was a lot of stuff that "directly" carried over from before. There's probably similarities, but dimensions may not be the same.
