Hello all,
I want to say hello to all of this group, I live in Chile
(southamerica), just a week ago I bought (the ever car that I desired
from kid)a Legacy '94 STW 2.0 TwinCam Turbo with 200000 K. on the
odometer, but it is really like new and original, it feels like that
all the 200 horses are in there, when I just bought the car, I feel
that that power is all that I need, but after a week, the feel of the
turbo is adictive and I want know where I must start to improve the
performance, the car and engine looks really all untouched and
original, no oil consumption, no smoke, fully working tranny, no
noises and in this week I have got some street trophyes, the last one
was with a Civic VTi,I have heared that are fasts, one of my problems
is the launch, looks like this car need burn a little of clutch to
launch good, if not the rpm drops and you lost and if you launch over
4000 you could break the tranny, if I depress the clutch so fast, even
when shifting up, under the chassis feels a noise(kick) not too
good, , I think that this is by the AWD, in FrontWD vehicles you burn
the tires, here I could broke the tranny. Please if any can start to
tell me where to start to have more HPs, will be great.
Regards,
Christian

Hello all, New to group,Just bought Legasy Turbo.
Well the best thing first is to change the exhaust Mrt is the place to go ,3
inch free flowing. then next get a good drop in air filter like K&N or
something similar. next up the boost [get boost gauge first] Bleed valve is
good and cheap . 1 bar will give big increase in power, as long as you can
get decent fuel ie 97 ron and above you will have no probs with detting,
standard water/air intercooler will cope fine, we can now get shell optimax
here in the uk now 98ron.
