My 1992 RS Liberty Turbo has major tappet problems. The remedy is the WRX heads and piston swap, I know. VERY costly.
Is there another swap, eg. from a 2.5ltr DOHC where i do not require changing the pistons?
Basically i am happy to change the heads but do not want to get invloved in the piston area.
Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
