Tranny Swap hey Josh......

GOING AWD??????????
I'd definately recommend it. Mine has been absolutely awesome since i
changed it over. The other big factor is if you have all the parts
and the tools you could do it in a weekend!

I have a list i made up of every part you need to change a FWD to
AWD, if your interested or anyone else is, please post and i will e-
mail it to you. :)

George,

Yeah I would be interested in that list of yours. I am actually looking to swap in a FWD 5spd to replace my FWD auto. Reason I'm stayin with FWD is mainly due to gearing. The AWD N/A cars have a final drive ratio of 4.11 The FWD has a 3.7. I think the turbo Legacies have 3.9. I suppose if I could get a hold of all the parts from a turbo legacy, then I could do the swap to AWD....but trying to find a complete turbo legacy for cheap as a parts car or to buy everything.....it's just not goin to work out as smoothly.

But I would like to see your list.

For a 92 liberty the ratio's are as follows
3.9 AWD
3.7 FWD
3.545 TURBO Some one verify.
This info is taken out of the work shop manual.
It is based on 5 speed manuals and only on sedans.
