Off to Calif!!
1st: Ryan-check your idle air control to see if it`s functioning correctly; I had the same idle problem until it was replaced. 2nd: I leave for NorCal on Monday, 3/18 to begin work for Prestige Imports (Subaru) on Monday, 3/25. I`ll be in the service dept. but will be involved in much more than that after I get through initiation. I`ll be able to offer factory/aftermarket parts at the same price (if not better) than the current SubaruParts online. I can be reached initially @ (707) 545-6602; ask for Rod at the Subaru desk. 3rd: I`m now running about 15psi with the alcohol adjusted correctly. The FMU @ 4:1 loves to over-pressure the motor at this boost (big clouds of black smoke) so I`m going to order a 3:1 setup to reduce this problem. Anyone else run into this with the Vortech FMU?
