Yes it all turns/rotates josh. Does this mean the sensor/cable assembly he grabbed from junkyard is bad and just needs a new sensor piece that screws into trans?

Re: Eletrical boost gauge install?
Nothing else included. I thought there's usually a separate sending unit as well. Not according to him. Maybe I got stiffed, seemed legit lol. I'll prolly just sell it and get a new one with everything

Eletrical boost gauge install?
Need some help. Just picked up an autometer electrical boost gauge for a good deal and the guy said it plugs into the stock map sensor for reading vs an eletrical sender and some vac hose. I've only had a prosport eletrical which had a sender unit and utilized vac for reading. And I've had a mechani...

Re: 5 speed swap
We tried doing that and it didn't work. So then we tried a different option of plugging in the old neutral switch off the auto tranny to one of the square connectors. Joe did a manual swap on his twag and used this option without splicing or jumping anything Joes: http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/1...

5 speed swap
Posting for a friend: I'm finishing up my 5 speed swap and I'm having trouble with the wiring. We cut a wire on the ecu for the mt/at identifier, but we must have cut the wrong one because when we tried to start the car the engine wouldn't crank all. I haven't worked with electrical stuff at all so ...

Re: Dies at high rpm
It's weird josh, we've done everything we have always done for my auto replacement which went smoothly. Once we replace the knock sensor with a good one and check the purge exchange/map sensors (I have extras) we will report back but I still can't get the trans to line up with the gear shifter insid...

Re: Dies at high rpm
Josh we have tried adjusting the two nuts by/underneath the shifter to loosen/tighten the slack to the cable where it connects to the knob selector on passenger side trans. Also the trans is from a 93 turbo wagon

Re: Dies at high rpm
There also a tranny code that needs to be read. Guessing it's something to do wth codes 51 and 52. Gonna fix the shady knock sensor wire tomorrow and see if it helps

http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/02/11/qu7ezuzu.jpg If you zoom in you see the wire/pin by itself at bottom of plug in pic next to 3 blank spots where pins could go. The wire/pin that is being spliced off of is directly above and to the left of that single wire at the bottom of the square plug. Looks b...

Also Hally(Robert), his manual light on dash cluster is on all the time. It won't toggle between by pressing the manual bottom on the shift lever. I'm guessing it has to deal with the funky wiring

Abrupt no air through vents/hvac selection?
Soo randomly today I was leaving work and started my car up. Heard a weird 3-5 time clunk behind the hvac unit and then it stopped. Immediately after I had no air coming through my vents when I put selector on vent or bilev. Only vents it comes out is by feet or defrost by windshield and defrost on ...
