FS: AutoSport Wiring ECU Patch Harness

Post by GodSquadMandrake »

I bought one of the ECU patch harnesses from autosportwiring.com to use on my 91SS but never ended up using it. This is used for wiring in a piggyback like E-Manage Ultimate without having the chop up your stock harness. It makes wiring it in a hell of a lot easier because you can do the soldering on the bench instead of under the dashboard. It's brand new in the package. $100 obo plus shipping.

As far as all my research went the EMU can be used with almost anything including the OBD1 BC. EMU is almost a complete standalone unit since you can drive the injectors directly and even delete the MAF and switch to MAP. It's pretty robust and versatile actually. But then again, I never did it so this all hypothetical experience and I could be completely wrong.

Nope...you're correct.

The EMU is one of the more powerful piggy-backs for those of us not wanting to go standalone....not saying it's as user-friendly as other options, but it does have many features.

A quick double-check of the 'Net shows it works on OBD1 and Greddy sells harnesses for the OBD1 cars, too....or I should say for pre-'96/OBDII cars...many of which are JDM, which may be OBDwhatever.

I wish Greddy or anyone made an affordable harness for USDM '96-98 Subes...I spent too much 'quality' time in the passenger foot well of my other Subie w/my soldering iron wiring in my EMU.

GL w/the sale.
Bump!
