I seem to be having the same problem right now. I purchased a junkyard tranny to replace my blown 4EAT. My TC wouldn't drop in that few mm. I tried pulling the oil pump shaft out but it wasn't budging. It won't rotate or slide in or out at all. I eventually propped the tranny up on its output shaft ...

Where can I find a rebuild kit for it? I'm assuming that the cheapest place would be an online vendor. So far $200 is the cheapest price I've seen estimated. Someone mentioned band adjustments. Check out this spark plug
http://uploads.offtopic.com/files/Spark%20Plugs.jpg This plug is out of my newly aquired Legacy. It looks like its in very rough shape. Where is all that oil from? I pulled it from the number 1 cylinder so its not oil that dripped down the filler tube. Could it be from a bad valve cover gasket? Or ...
