that's interesting, but doesn't tell me much on Gen I and Gen II swapping. (ie: '89-'94 and '95-'99) since we know you *can* get the '92-'94 hood/fenders/lights/grill stuff on the older gen I's, then you could theorize that the later Gen I's, if you could manage to work all the gen II stuff in, woul...

anybody interested in meeting up... details inside
Just out of curiosity, not that some cars really should, but if someone wanted to, I'm curious to know how different the front ends of the gen I and gen II legacys really are. if anybody is near me (scio/albany, or) and wouldn't mind spending a day measuring, and possibly test fitting (no permanent ...

oh yeah, also, for you Gen I'ers, I'm pretty sure you can't move around and shuffle any of the body pieces of the other Gens or models. From looking at Brian's bumper and a couple of other cars, I don't even know if swapping fenders would allow any change. But not like you'd need to... maybe on a st...

oh, but hey, laurel got a pic of me workin on Brian's car! yeah!
I saw he had trouble, and since I knew it was just one bolt/nut combo I thought I'd jump to action. He didn't have to float me the $5 for the spaghetti feed, but he did. Way cool.

so, was at WCSS6, which rocked, and with the open hoods and all, was able to make measurements. 1. The hood overall is slightly smaller width on the imprezas. (due to fenders) 2. the lights from passenger side meets the fender, to driver's side meets the fender, is the same distance among legacys an...

Gen II legacy front bumper possibilities: impreza!
So, I went to a friend's house to help work on his JDM WRx EJ20G swap into his 93. Which he's also modifying the front bumper mount to accept an '01 front OBS style bumper. Along with an OBS hood, and new rear bumper, and wing, and body kit, he's trying to go for a four door 22B look. So anyhow, I g...

Well, it runs, it drives, and it kicks some ass. Someone decided they wanted to race, and I hadn't really thought about it. So they got about a car length ahead of me because I hadn't launched yet... then I launched... hey, where'd they go? ;) I never had my legacy with a clutch that had this much g...

anything to be worried about in a reman flywheel?
My understanding is that a remanfactured flywheel is a perfectly good flywheel that was once used and then cleaned up and resurfaced. anything to be worried about? I'm paying something like $40 and change and a $50 and change core charge for a reman flywheel. Also going with OEM clutch kit. (pp, clu...
