Re: Turn signal light/bulb problem

Just an update...yes, it was the connector/electrical contact. I swiggled it and bent some pins closer together and that fixed the problem. It's working good now. Thanks for reading or offering advice.

Turn signal light/bulb problem

Hi all...I have a problem. Just recently, my right turn signal (in the cluster) started blinking really fast and I inspected both rear and front bulb and the rear turn signal would blink really fast but the front turn signal acts dead. So, I bought a new bulb and installed it, but still no power is ...

Okay, just an update, guys. It is done! It took me about six hours of work. I took my time, though. The now ex-differential looks to be in good working condition itself. No metal shaving of any kind in the fluid. In fact, the fluid looks to be as clear as when I put it in back in '05. Thanks for the...

I have AMSoil Full Synthetic 80-90W, which is not enough to fill the rear differential, so I bought a a quartz of Semi-Synthetic 75-90W, is it okay to mix these? If not, I will try to get another quartz of AMSoil.

Timewise, how long did it take you to finish yours?

I just got myself a diff from a 94 model. Gonna put it on next week some time. Just wonder how much time I plan to put aside for this. Thanks...

Get a rear diff with the same final drive ratio as your transmission. Pulling to one side is not likely related to final drive mismatch issues. Thanks...will try to find one. What could be causing this pulling to one side? It pulls more/harder when in AWD, a little less in FWD mode. Does final driv...

Help with rear differential...

Okay, because of lack of knowledge in the differential area, for better or for worse, stupidity also plays a part in this. I purposely bought a tranny made for '92 Leggie and put it on my '91 Leggie. Now, with the rear wheels completely lock up when I drive in AWD. It drives ok in FWD (fuse inserted...

I'm building the diagnostic tool itself. I think it's pretty neat that I can actually do it with very little cost. I probably might convert it to some kind of general ECU getters for all types of vehicle if I can.

Also try resetting the ECU and let it learn everything from scratch and see if it makes any difference.

Diagnostic PC

I don't know where to post thread, so here it goes. I need info on how to build a PC for diagnosting or getting ECU code. What equipments do I need besides the PC itself? I have several PCs laying around I can use, but I have no idea where to start. Your assistance will greatly be appreciated. Thank...

Long time ago when I changed my timing belt, I used a chain wrap then a breaker bar to open mine. It damaged my pulley a little, with small teeth sinking onto the pulley. I used file to smooth them back but had I known this 'crank the engine' method, my pulley would still be all smooth today. Anyway...
