He just found the car

Apparently the waste of oxygen, crack smoking, proof that evolution works in reverse, loser was trying to cash a check he found in the car and ended up arrested.

Don't know all the details yet, but I'm sure Spence will fill you in later.

I think it was a grade 8 5/8" washer.

Did you reuse your stock rear top hats? or did the complete WRX assembly go right in?

Great Info. Sorry for being dense but... I am picking up complete 02 WRX struts & springs to put on a 93 SS. The struts include the top hats/spring perch for both the front and the rear. The springs are straight springs on both models but have a different top & perch design. Are they compati...

Yep, I'm hearing the click. Crazy thing hasn't done it since I posted so when I ck the voltage at the starter it seems fine. Guess I'll just hang on until it does it again and ck it then.

I'll ck it out tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure that it's something to do with the clutch. The lights don't seem to dim the way you described. Thx

clutch/starter interlock

Intermittant trouble starting, I can hear the click when I push in the clutch, but occasionally having to do it 4 or 5 times to get the starter to engage.

Can anyone give me advice on how to remove or bypass the clutch/starter lock?

Thx

I'm sure this has been discussed to death, but are the WRX suspension bits and pieces compatible with our cars? And which ones?

Sorry for the dumb questions, but what is the advantage of replacing with WRX flywheel & pressure plate, and is there anything else needed to do the conversion?

Source for new bushings?

Lots of squeeks, rattles, creaks and groans from my Legacy, 116K, so I'm looking to replace the bushings when I do the shocks.

Any recommendations and ideas on what they will cost? Stock vs. Aftermarket?

Thx

Wow, I didn't know that I couldn't adjust the clutch. I thought that I had read several posts on this board referring to adjusting it, and I just couldn't figure it out. No, I haven't tried changing the clutch fluid and bleeding it. I'm going to change all of the fluids this weekend anyway, so I'm a...

how do I adjust a clutch?

Just bought a 93 Legacy SS w/ a 5 speed. It has 116K. The clutch slips slightly when in 5th gear @ about 2500 rpm, gave it the gas, rpm elevated about 300 rpm. Was definitely a slight slip. Noticed that the clutch is not adjusted according to the specs in the manual, way too much free play and pedal...
