Disconnecting the rear wiper had no effect on the headlights. Cut off the passenger side connector plug in poor shape and soldered in a new one from the scrap yard. Now if both sides are plugged in the both headlights come on with a slight delay but are very faint. The passenger side highbeam does n...

No current to low beams / continuous rear wiper motor buzz

About 3-4 years ago I noticed that my right headlight (low beam) and the right tail light stopped coming on. A bulb replacement fixed the taillight, playing a bit with the decaying connector plug made the front light come on. With time, it became increasingly difficult to keep the right low beam on....

WTB: pair of front speakers - OEM or aftermarket

Ease of installation is primordial, do not want to mess around with spacers and such. Quality unimportant as long as they are in proper working order.

I just took possession of the car after taking it to my mechanic. He just had to replace the control arm + end link with the one I bought from a scrap yard over the weekend. No other collateral damage. 1 hour of labour + CAD$40 for an alignment. The ball joints are finished on both sides so I'll be ...

Jamal, crazy! It does indeed look like the swaybar is trapped under the tie rod in the picture. This weekend I'll be hitting a scrap yard outta town that's got a couple of bf legacies ... what parts would you get based on this picture? I'm gonna try to take some other ones at different angles tonight.

What is the name of this part?

A couple of months back I hit a patch of black ice and slid into a side walk wheels turned at around 5-10 mph. This bent my control arm resulting in the passenger side wheel now being shift to about an inch off the back of the wheel well. When I steer all the way to the right it rubs. Looks like I'm...

oh my.. there are some who prefer the pre-facelift look?

Don't the post-facelift wagon in the top left corner of your screen look good to you? :)

One other question - is it necessary / a very good idea to change the flywheel as well? According to a local dealer, they don't replace clutches w/o replacing the flywheel as well - is this BS?

The clutch I'm talking about is made by Valeo. I've heard of Valeo in the past , they make some OEM head/taillight units for Audi, but I have no idea about their clutches. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2480605224&category=33730 The Exedy clutch is als...

Questions about clutch replacement

Hi, It looks like the clutch on my '92 Legacy (my first manual) which I've owned for 2.5 years is toast. I first started noticing some slight slipping in 3rd gear about a month ago and it's gotten to the point where the engine now revs freely while very little power is sent to the wheels. I was wond...

Front speaker replacement

Hello,

I have a 92 L wagon with a blown front speaker

What would be a good, reasonably priced replacement for both front speakers?

Also what size are they?
