well i checked out the aution as well and i asked the same questions about how they could guarantee that it would work with my car and so forth... i also asked if there was schmeatics included for any cables i may need to make to interface with my car but i did not get all the answers i was looking ...

finally gettin boosted!

snagged a turbo wagon parts car today for 300 bucks! now i can finally get boosted! What would u guys reccomend doing to the motor right away.... i'm not looking for crazy horsepower just want to make it respond! these are things i was thinking about doing.... 1. intercooler 2. unorthodox pullies 3....

i like the first pic... looks good except the wing.... i just so happen to have a 90-91 car that could use a little facelift! (the wheels are turning now!)... if i were to do this what would i all need? i do need new front fenders on both sides, so if it's going to look like crap with the 90-91 side...

i forgot to say this : u can get all the supplies from and local bodyshop supplier, i dunno if you have a carquest near you but they have it... alot of the places will sell u the special applicator, but they will also lend it to you. All u have to do is put a deposit down and you will get that back ...

if u do find replacement panels like new ones.... instead of welding them look into that Fusor panel epoxy... i used it to shave the door handles on my truck and i've used it for friends cars doing rear quarter work too... you might find it handy to have a welder around as well for tacking the panel...

well i figured it out tonight.... it was the alternator.... the unit it self works fine it was just the "B" terminal as the haynes manual named it the screw that fastens it to the actual alternator (not the one that the car harnes attaches to but the internal conection) was snapped.... don...

ok i searched and did find anything like what i was experience so if there is a thread someone post it here... here goes.... i my remote start is not sensing that the engine is started and tries to crank the engine while it is already running.... did that this afternoon, but this morning it behaved ...

Of course high on the list where the wear items like rings bearings and such u know most of the stuff that a general rebuild entails... what kind of work to the heads cold i do? i know the obvious overhaul andd port and polish but is there anything else? i've looked through alot of the threads here ...

here's the link.... it's a cool idea free tuning software and plans to build your own interface, made by actual subaru drivers.... the only problem is that so far they are only doing stuff for obd-II subaru's... thats why i think vrg3 may be interested... i know from looking through all of his post ...
