that was kinda the feeling i had too... seems a might bit sketchy

well i checked out the aution as well and i asked the same questions about how they could guarantee that it would work with my car and so forth... i also asked if there was schmeatics included for any cables i may need to make to interface with my car but i did not get all the answers i was looking ...

snagged a turbo wagon parts car today for 300 bucks! now i can finally get boosted! What would u guys reccomend doing to the motor right away.... i'm not looking for crazy horsepower just want to make it respond!

i just so happen to have a 90-91 car that could use a little facelift! (the wheels are turning now!)...

if i were to do this what would i all need? i do need new front fenders on both sides, so if it's going to look like crap with the 90-91 ...

u can get all the supplies from and local bodyshop supplier, i dunno if you have a carquest near you but they have it... alot of the places will sell u the special applicator, but they will also lend it to you. All u have to do is put a deposit down and you will get that back ...

if u do find replacement panels like new ones.... instead of welding them look into that Fusor panel epoxy... i used it to shave the door handles on my truck and i've used it for friends cars doing rear quarter work too... you might find it handy to have a welder around as well for tacking the ...

someone had a post about this and they wanted to make it a part of the e-brake handle and have it triggered by the switch that triggers the idiot light when you pull it up. try searching i can't remember who it was but somehow i get the feeling it was ciper?

well i figured it out tonight.... it was the alternator.... the unit it self works fine it was just the "B" terminal as the haynes manual named it the screw that fastens it to the actual alternator (not the one that the car harnes attaches to but the internal conection) was snapped.... don't ask me ...

my remote start is not sensing that the engine is started and tries to crank the engine while it is already running.... did that this afternoon, but this morning it behaved ...

i too have been researching the megasquirt, it is indeed very interesting... form my subaru i am probably gonna go with the e-manage.... i'm deciding to sink some extra money into the car (was supposed to just be my winter beater this year, but i love it sooooo much, i'm hooked on subaru now!). but ...

Of course high on the list where the wear items like rings bearings and such u know most of the stuff that a general rebuild entails... what kind of work to the heads cold i do? i know the obvious overhaul andd port and polish but is there anything else? i've looked through alot of the threads here ...

well it kinda croaked..... a little while back my water pump seized when my girlfriend was driving my car cuz hers was in the shop car overheated. no biggie replaced that. then on tuesday mr rad split open and pissed fluid everywhere, as a result of this the car overheated again.... so i replaced ...

i love just mashing the throttle in first and getting it to jumpt to third at redline... i'm still learning alot about these cars, my neighbour teaches me new stuff all the time (subaru mechanic). he told me about that shifting thing... i've found that when i launch like that the car accelarates ...

My neighbour and I (neighbour is a subaru mechanic) did this just the other day only i had DEEPER issues! (waterpump was seized!), if u got all that stuff of the front of the engine u might as well do ALL of those seals if u haven't yet.... it's not really all that expensive, i did everything ...

did you find anyone to cut the vinyl yet? i know i live way in the great white north (more browny white thanks to all that nast road grime!) but if you are still really interested in getting some cut i have a friend who works at a sign company and he does ALL of their vinyl work from design to ...

...and that is just the reason i posted!
I haven't been here long (as a member at least) but that's what this bbs is all about helping others!

i was hoping that by posting here maybe someone who is capable of contributing would be able to help them out and make a version for our cars.... man if i only understood computers (and more about my legacy! i'd be all for helping out but i would have the first idea of where to start....
