I've hade both manual end electronic boost controllers on other turbocars without problems. I REMOVED the bleedvalve yesterday and just connected the 2 lines with a small pipe. The result was, kind of no difference at all! The car boosts away to 1bar when i push full throttle and then rapidly descen...

I'll do a basic tuneup in the near future with plugs etc. But how do i control or service the air control valve? Could i lubricate it in some way? And about the grounding, if i have understood things right there are som kind of popular grounding mod that people do? Maybe that could be done in conjun...

Weird boostcontrolling!
I just bought an Legacy RS fitted with some kind of bleedvalve mounted to some hose under the bonnet, near the right front wheel. I haven't even have time to trace the hose but i thougt i'd ask first. The boostlevels are quite weird! If i really put the gas fully the boost peaks quite fast to 0.9bar...

Idle going up and down when clutching and in neutral. !!
When I press my clutch or change gear into neutral my idle drops down and then goes up again (2-3 times) before it stabilizes at around 1000rpm. I haven't noticed the same thing when the engine is cold and the cold start is in use... What could be the problem? Kindly Regards //Gustaf

Subaru Impreza Turbo suspension on the Legacy...!?
Hi! I recently bought an 1990 Subaru Legacy 1.8 GLX (EJ18 SPI (TBI) engine) I've read somwhere that Subaru Impreza Turbo shocks and springs (the hole leg) fit the Legacy. And do i need to replace the wheelhub and brakes too? But what years of the Impreza fit? Does the Impreza GT MY99 fit? It would b...

It's a TBI injection (SPI in subarulanguage). As I would need to get intakemanifolds etc. from the MPI version of EJ's it isn't worth the work of converting the EJ18. I'll try to get hold of an EJ22 cheaply and turboconvert it with home made manifolds, if i cant get an ej20g turbo manifold for free ...
