my dad had a 2002 Ford Escape 4 banger DOHC 5 speed and at 75 mph at 4000 rpm he got 25 mpg if it helps any

no, thats the problem...i got the bolt off but the pulley will not budge. i've hit it with a piece of wood pretty hard to break it loose but nothin. im stuck otherwise

ok, well i had someone put the brakes on and i got the bolt off no problem, but the pulley wont budge, im not going to bend the damn pulley trin to get it off either. anyone know what to try?

ok, i'll try some of them things
and do you have ti have a puller to get the pulley off, or do you just have to be careful of how to get it off so you dont damage it.

its a 5 speed...but i have one wheel off and its up in the air so i can get to the bolt and the pulley. and because of this the wheel in the air turns when i turn the crank pulley, even when its in gear. i do have an impact wrench but i didnt know if i should use it on the crank. so in other words i...

ok, im replacin the timing belt and what the hell do i have to get to get the crank pulley off. I already obviously have the socket and 3 extra just in case, but what do i get to stop the crank from turning? this is on a toyota

knock sensor?

when i started the car it right away was running almost as if it were missing on a cylinder, it was shaking the whole car but then it just quit and was running smooth and about a minute later it was running really rough again and it kept doing this smooth, rough, smooth thing any help?

ok, so to sum it up, honda's dont make a lot of torque, but they only weigh like pretty much nothing so they dont have to make a bunch of torque, but its always more fun if you build the torque up your self by adding add-on's

also, does anyone know what good the "posi" rear end does, the mazda truck has it and you can always get a squeel out of a tire when you are turning sharp, and its always one of the back ones. anyone know what the "posi" rear end is good for???

well, they must have fixed the problem with the Ford engine, becasue that little 4.0 can go, and has never had a problem with the engine, im saying this even though im not really into Ford

corsair has it right, chevy has 250 at 2800 rpm and the mazda has 238 at 3000 rpm. not that it really matters anymore but im not talking about powerbraking, im talking about flooring it from a stand still.

ok, easy question that i cant answer. a friend has a mazda truck with a 4.0 V-6 in it and it has 210 horsepower and my mom has a 4.3 V-6 Vortec and it has 190 horsepower. with experience i find out that its easier to burn out with the 4.3 :D so does that mean that the 4.3 has more torque becasue its...

yea, it doesnt try to do anything. if put in D or any other gears the only thing that changes are the rpm's but the tranny its self doesnt do anything. yea the shift linkage is right. i just put a new one on there, becasue the last one was broken. but the linkage is adjusted properly. i have no idea...
