Idling weird
Quick question... When I start my car up in the morning, or if it has been sitting for awhile, it revs at about 1500 rpm, when it should be down around 850. It doesn't go down until i tap the gas, and then it will settle. Maybe I need a tune up? Sometimes, when it starts when it's warm, it will dip ...

lurching in the tranny
My legacy is starting a new trend of spooling around 3000 rpm and then lurching out of first and into second when it is first run in the morning or when it has sat for awhile in any weather conditions. It is pretty noticable, as it gives quite a jerk like 3 or 4 times until it warms up and then it s...

frozen suspension sound
When it's real cold outside and I hit a dip in the road the suspension sounds like it is frozen. This is only when I hit a dip and the car rides farther on the suspension rather than on a bump or hole in the road where the suspension doesn't travel as far. Is there a problem or is this usual? It's p...

sticky at shifter
I have a 95 leg. L sedan with auto tranny in it. In the morning when I go to work the shifter freezes if it is cold out and it takes some convincing and pressure to make the button go in. But once I get that button in for the first time, it's fine. And it only does it when its cold out. Any thoughts...

Allignment
I just got my 95 legacy alligned about 2 months ago and again it is steering too much to the right when the wheel is straight. The last time the front left tire's toe was off. However, i really didnt expect it to get out of allignment this fast. Is there anything that can cause this? I really don't ...

rubbing noise
I seem to have a newly developed rubbing type noise coming from one of my front tires. It makes sort of a flopping noise rhythmically since it speeds up when I go faster and slows down when.. well you get the point. THe tires are new, there are no flat spots or anything. What could this be?

flop flop flop flop
yes, that's the sound my car is making right now. It seems from what i can hear, that the front left tire is making this annoying flop flop sound. They are practically brand new tires so there are no flat spots. I linked it to the tires cuz when I'm slowing down the time in between the noises slows ...

Heat shield eh? That sounds a lot better then the cat being broken. I dont have any jack to put my car up on. Or the time to do it either, Im moving back to school this weekend. Would a broken cat make the check engine light come on for any reason? I dont know if that light checks the emmisions or n...

cat converter?
I'm noticing for a few weeks now that when i turn my car on or when im excellerating I hear a metallic rattle coming from the car. The noise is coming from around the mid to the front of the car. Can't really pinpoint where it is coming from. I hoping this is not my cat since I know they are expensi...

power door lock fix?
Just recently my front passenger side door lock screetches quite loudly when it gets lock. Then a second after it locks, it makes this weird noise that sounds like something is.. well, picture a diving board after someone jumped off and how it vibrates, thats what it kinda sounds like. Any ideas? No...

knock sensor?
Can anyone tell me what a knock sensor really does? I'm pretty sure it detects a knock in the engine and makes the engine run differently so it wont hurt the engine.. Mine seems to be not working and setting off the check engine light, however I never heard a knocking, and this happened twice now. Y...

My 95 legacy sedan has traction control system on it. I was told that when you first start to drive it makes a crunching noise and that is just the tcs turning on. Is this right? I do have that crunching noise only when i first start driving and then it goes away. It only last for a split second and...
