I have the ABS light on in my 96 outback. Now I tried removing the relays and the light was still on like the FSM says. I also tried getting a code from it and dont know what the correct connector is to ground to get the code pulled. I also havent tried removing the control unit to see if the light ...

So your saying I will get low CR using all stuff for a phase 1 2.5? How can that be if the stock CR is 9.7 or so. What is the volume of the ej20g vs the ej25d heads? I have a 95 wagon with a 2.2 5 spd. I have a phase 1 2.5 shortblock. I also have 2.2 heads from a 90 NA 2.2 legacy. I have heads from a early ej20g with rockers arms but no cams, cam gears or valve covers. I want to make a franken 2.5 motor for this car. I dont want to dump a ton of money on it but ...
