Saying that I could have gotten "real coilovers" for not much more doesn't make sense. My setup cost $860 and the setup that H&R has is like $1800 normal and almost $1600 on sale, thats double what I paid. If I could have afforded the H&R I would have gone that way, but I didn't ha...

Ground Controls and GR-2's

About two months ago I had some GR-2 struts, Ground Control coilover sleeves and Eibach springs, installed on my 93 Legacy. I have to say that I am really happy with how it turned out. The handling is noticeably stiffer and it fixes a lot of the body roll issue you get with the stock springs. The wh...

Just de-snorked my 93 legacy

Today I de-snorked my Legacy. It was really easy to do. Just remove the air box, and take out the front most screw that holds the wheel well covering in. To get the wheel well covering out of the way just pull the tabs out that are slipped into the bottom of the bumper, once those are popped out jus...

i love the coilovers. There is about 2" maybe 2.5" of adjustment up or down in them. When they are all the way down the rear rides at about stock and the front sits a little more than 1" lower than stock. As far as how they ride i love em! A little springy but a hell of a lot of fun a...

I know that this wont solve your problem of having to get out and use the key to open the trunk but it is something to think about. I had my 93 legacy broken into by the thieves breaking the front drivers side lock opening the car and pulling the trunk release, therefore accessing everything i had i...

will have to take a couple more pics tomorrow. Today i took the two front door pannels off removed the speaker covers, ripped the fabric off of them and painted them black. I did the same to the speaker covers in the back. I also removed the window vent on the top of the door pannel and the door han...

Todays project was re grounding my 93 legacy and I must say I was quite suprised what $20 in wire and connectors can do. Before my windows would crawl now they are noticably quicker. The first time i tuned the key after installing the new grounds it started right up. now i just got to get her out an...

The most durable paint that I have found is duplicolor Trim paint. The stuff goes on nice and even and is ment to be applied to parts such as the trim of your car. I used it when i blacked out my chrome and the grill on my legacy and seems to hold up just fine. Its nice because you can get either a ...

blacking out my chrome

Well today i spent all afternoon blacking out the chorme on the trim of my 93 legacy. I have to admit that i like the blacked out look much more than the chrome. I also blacked out the grill with the exception of the subaru logo, and the trim that is just under the windows. If you plan on trying thi...
