It's funny how we professional mehanics look at this problem and say "It's an easy fix", but the customer looks like he's going to be sick when it comes to the prospect of doing the reapir himself. I see it all the time. Honestly, this is an easy fix. Just have the axle assembly replaced, ...

Well, like everyone else I'd like to NOT spend every paycheck on the car, but I'm not opposed to spending a little cash on it. I'm going to eventually upgrade pretty much everything on the car with the exception of the body/paint/interior. I want to keep it fairly stock in appearance for that sleepe...

'90 Legacy LS Wagon, want to drop it lower.

So, I'm a newbie. And I recently bought a little grandma's grocery getter Legacy LS wagon with a bunch of miles on it. Got rid of the little 14" tire/wheel combination and mounted some '02 WRX wheels with 205/55R16's on it. Looks great, fells great. But now I'd like to drop the stance a bit, wo...

Here's what I did....the tires we just too fat to clear the bottom of the struts on the rear, so I opted for different tires. 205/55R16 did the trick. I little tight, but the car looks less like a grocery getter now.....

'02 WRX Wheels and tires

I'm new at the Subaru thing. That being said, I've got a chance to buy some '02 WRX wheels with 225/50vr16 tires on 'em. I'm wonder if they will fit under my '90 Legacy wagon.

Any ideas/suggestions/comments are certainly welcomed......
