i have 94 ss and i am getting ready to do the SWAP this weekend and i have a few questions. the donor car is 95 or a 96 legacy. does it matter what size motor it has? and can i use the trans crossmember out of the donor or do i need to get one from a 94. thanks for all your help. joe

i am trying to get all my peices together to do the swap. i just got the rear diff and i'm not 100% sure that it is 3.545, but it is out of a 02 wrx. i want to double check to make sure that the diff is 3.545 because the rear cover tag is missing, how do i do this.

i am getting ready to do the auto to 5mt swap. i'm not sure what rear diff i need. the 5mt is out of a 02or03 wrx. my car is auto with 3.90. i think the 5mt has a ratio of 1.100. so would i need a rear diff with a 3.545? and do i need front and rear axels?

is there a resistor to unplug and make auto shift firmer. i thought that there was someone that did it in archives.
