ok so mixed reviews , to chimney or not to chimney

would it be possible to make some sort of shield out of turbo blanket ( to keep heat near turbo , but the rest of the engine bay would stay cooler).



what about makin a mr2 style snorkle , pvc pipe or something that will b ok to be 6-8'' above ...

yes there should be a black rubber or plastic cover , but there is an inch gap and i can see the 3or 4 wires red yellow , i cant remember the other colours(it cold -16 with windchill, so i wasnt dog f ***ing). i believe the red wire was ...

ok i read up on this last night for a couple hrs , today i re fitted some of the hose so it doesnt go higher than tank , the large hose that goes to turbo was real close to the throttle cable.



whats the spark plug lookin thing that goes into the turbo?

it had a a few wires that were not covered ...

i just replaced my plastic tank with the wrx metal 1 , and the person that installed it with me said i shouldnt use the metal cap from the wrx tank , i should use my stock legacy cap

the stock legacy cap pressure is 0.9
and the wrx cap is 1.1

which should i use?
whats burping the coolant?

as the title says , i need to no how to drain my coolant , as it looks pretty diluted n dirty, i have a 1992 legacy turbo 5spd

next what is the optimum coolant to use? redline water wetter, justice bros radiator cooler, dei radiator relief, or any others you use

changed air filter , plugs , fuel system cleaner , n it runs amazing now. a little to good i was driving 180kmh the other day and when i got home there is a crack in the coolant resovoir tank. jb welded good to go.

personally i would go black the leggy turbo looks the best black with tinted windows. my black 92 looks like a totally different car than my 91 leggy in the gun metal

the gunmetal leggy looks a bit dated yet the black is just a bit more sporty and the ugly plastic strip that looks like crown ...

i was wondering if having no intake chimney on my car will damage it ?

and other than being able to access the turbo easier why would the previous owner remove it?

i started driving my 92 turbo 5spd before it was completely warmed up, and when i steped on the accelerator 1/2-1/3 the car was chugging like crazy with little power? it was almost like a vaccum line was hooked up wrong



then in a couple minutes the car was warmed up and had no chugging problem at ...

how much is it to fix a 1992 turbo leggy control arm? parts and labour?

i suzu impulse awd turbo, motor blown, everything else good, turbo recently rebuiln new , rad, breaks ...

the guy says bigger injectors and a tdo4 is already installed in it 200hp awd in a 2700 pound car sweet. i just wish the seller wasnt such a dick.

i am wondering what to do my exhaust is opened up to 2.5" with 1 cat removed just after down pipe , i want to no if i should just use 3" piping for the downpipe that the mechanics can bend into shape, i will be going catless . i need to no will they b able to get a flange ...

i already have a 93 single turbo leggy but its auto
and has 180miles on it

the twinturbo has only 60miles on engine and 85 on the body


i believe i found the engine specs 280hp 250torque at 5000rpm

the car is lhd but only the engine is from japan it is a 2litre twin turbo .
the origional engine was single turbo, 2.2l the swap is 2.ol twin turbo from japan?

how many hp is there a 2litre imprezza twin turbo that the engine could of came out of?
