I think I have read right. let see. The Rear sway bars can be replaced with white line adjustable bars. When I buy those, do I order for 93-01 or 02-current. Or are they made to fit both?

How about a intake manifold from a '97 ej22 onto a '93 ej22t. if so would it even do any good. I just have a bad engine sitting around and wondering if I can use any of the parts off it.

Oh yeah, I'm doing all the clutch, flywheel and all that stuff while I have access to it when I'm putting the 5 speed in. I'm even going to be working on the other end and putting in a water pump and new timing belt just as. I decided on using a WRX Flywheel, I figure there are more options down the...

hey wind chaser how did your swap go, I am doing pretty much the same thing. I have my old '97 Outback sport I'm using as the donor, any snags you ran into? What clutch and flywheel did you use? also how hard was wiring the whole thing up? Any info would be great, I should start pulling the 4eat out...

This write up looks like it'll be a big help on my project. I am putting a 5 speed from my '97 OBS with blown engine into my '93 legacy turbo. The 4eat has a weird problem that doesn't allow it to shift into 3rd, ever! So I got the car for $650 bucks, and the interior and body are in GREAT shape! An...

ya, the auto belts suck, I love to just grab my belt and tug to get in nice and snug before I do any spirited driving and with the auto belt you cant do that

FCD?

I know that there are quite a few threads about FCD's but they are for the most part very technical and I just had a quick question or 2 about them. How much of a difference do they make, home-made or otherwise. Is it noticable by butt Dyno? Are they supposed to be used after upgrading the turbo sys...

the price this is going for makes me want to just sell the '93 I just bought with a bad tranny I was going to swap for a 5spd. I paid $650 and the interior and body are almost as nice, I got some thinking to do now. Just replace the 4eat and make 15 hundred bucks. It sucks that I like it so much tho...

I'm planning on doing this on my '93 ss. Do I need to find a M/T ECU? or does does jumping trhe connectors solve that? I have been told both.

My 4eat does the same thing, not shifting to 3rd, and my speedo works fine. it is not really a big deal as i am planning on a 5mt swap. I bought the whole car for 650 and it is in nice enough shape otherwise that if I fixed the tranny I could sell it and make a fair deal of money and then I would bu...

Hey, XeviousR, never mind about the radiator. just the question about the tranny swap. From what I have gathered from reading stuff on here and some other subie sites the worst part is just getting all the parts together, but since I have my poor donor car, this should not be a problem. I am just lo...

Cool thanks, if that other guy still wants it thats cool. I'm just in Salt lake so shipping won't be so bad for me. let me know. I quoted a new one from the radiator shop, $160, and a Koyo off ebay for like $126 plus shipping, so if it is in decent shape it'd be worth it, thanks!

Parts are probably all gone, but I was wondering how difficult your 5mt swap was? I have a '97 impreza that I fried the engine on and want to throw the tranny in. I bought a '93 legacy ss for $650 with a crazy 4eat problem and a crack in the radiator. I figure I have most of the parts I need from th...

Yeah, I race with Karl Sealander every month. He is so smooth. He is a way cool guy too. He isn't the kinda guy that would let his skill go to his head. seriously he has taught me quite a bit! Oh boy his car should be the envy of any body that loves to drive and/or race. His DMS suspension is worth ...
