Thats exactly what I mean. I'm pretty sure the 36-2-2-2 is the older style system that doesn't use a cam sensor. (But I could be wrong)

What type of ignition system on EJ22T

Hello,

I have a quick one this morning. Does the EJ22T out of a 91 SS use the 6/7 ignition system or the 36-2-2-2 system?

Upon further inspection it appears to be a PWM type of system. Can anyone confirm?

Is the IAC just a fast idle type or is it a stepper motor type?

Hello, I have a EJ22T out of a 91 SS that I am going to swap into a 2005 2.5RS. I am planning to run megasquirt so I am not concerned about the stock ECU or anything like that. Here's my issue.
