Funny starting problem WTF?
Tried to start my 94 legacy today & I have a feeling the ECU reset or maybe the fuel pump relay tripped... The car would crank, but just cough for about 5 minutes, and finally when it DID start, the car coughed alot as I was putting the throttle down... almost sounds as if an injector got clogged or ...

Yeah usually they will show right at top, even when car is warmed up, but if you leave it for a couple minutes, it will eventually work it's way down...The only peeve i have about the old legacys is the PITA it is to put in coolant BECAUSE you can't just fill to the line, you have to sit & babysit ...

Easy one.... had this problem a couple times.
Burp your radiator... open the cap & let the car warm up... keep pouring coolant in as it "burps" air out, and once the coolant hits top level and stops, (40 or so minutes worth of doing this PITA) you should be good. VERY TINY air bubbles will affect ...

Tried a different suggestion that really works nicely.. drop in the K&N, get a saw & hack off the bottom part of the airbox past the mounting screws.. this way' you have something to hold the filter in, but open on the bottom end. nice way to mod the intake, and the HP gain isn't much, but still ...

It's not a tank.. it's a direct drive compressor, about the size of a pop can, really (they make bigger ones for bigger rigs)... brilliant supercharger design.. (unlike the computer fan in your CAI layout on ebay) looks like the initial drive uses about 5 different gears simutaneously to crank the ...

Quite sure all that's gonna happen if you blow in it is it's going to suck far more air than you can blow and you'll end up getting the air sucked right out of your lungs haha! Especially when you hit the accelerator. You may even collapse a lung. Wouldn't do that if I were you.

I had this happen on an old justy once.... You mean that there is air BLOWING through your intake instead of sucking it in? Sounds like either your timing belt broke (Really hyper sounding crank) or you have a stuck valve that is holding the intake valve open, maybe? My only guess is that the exaust ...

I picked up a generic cone filter from autozone for like 30 bucks. the mod was simple improv. I took out the airbox, and pulled out the little gold flange it used to connect to the MAF, use a sawzall to cut pipe back 3 inches, refit the MAF to new location, & used a silicone gasket maker to seal the ...
