Ej22t shortblocks
I have some ej22t motors I was going to tear down to short block to see if they are still any good. And heard they are sought after overseas. Anyone have experience selling them overseas (canada to europe)? Do you get enough for them it's worth the hassle or just sell locally?

Re: Hydraulic clutch into a 99GT sedan during a 5 speed swap
Well, the 05 set did not fit into the 91T straight up. That 3rd bolt hole was slightly out of alignment, and about 1/4" space/gap behind that support. But I made an adapter plate and then it worked great with full support untill I retired the car. If that part was removeable and I could bolt it...

Re: Hydraulic clutch into a 99GT sedan during a 5 speed swap
Great, thanks for the information mike-tracy and Legacy777. Ill look into fabing a brace in that area, but won't worry about it too much if its more work than necessary. At least I can keep plugging away at this swap + head gasket repair.

Re: Hydraulic clutch into a 99GT sedan during a 5 speed swap
Definatly not, its kind of a large space. With just the wiring harness passing by. I compared it to my 91T and it is definatly missing that support. On yours can you tell if that support is welded to the frame? Or could it be removed from the car and put into another? Or will it require a zip disc a...

Re: Hydraulic clutch into a 99GT sedan during a 5 speed swap
Unable to take photos at the moment, but this picture shows the bolt/support that is missing in the 99GT. This should be there for any hydraulic clutch setup? Or were the manual 2500 different from the automatics. Seems odd my 99 GT is missing this support. This was taken from a 1999 service manual ...

Re: Hydraulic clutch into a 99GT sedan during a 5 speed swap
Ill have to take some photos of what is going on in there. The 05 pedal set worked in the 91, but the lack of support in the 99 will be an issue. Have to build a support or figure out how to adapt it.

Hydraulic clutch into a 99GT sedan during a 5 speed swap
I am in the middle of swapping a JDM 5 speed from my old 91T Legacy into a auto 99GT limited sedan. The 91T was a full 5 speed swap long ago and used a 05 sti pedal set and hydraulic clutch. I had to build a small adapter plate to get the pedal set to fit into the 91 legacy. There are 7 bolt holes t...

Re: EDM instrument in dash. What is it ?
Ah, thanks. I will have to see if it translates straight across for the second Gen now. You need both page 204 and 241 as 241 is missing position 6 on the I47 plug/housing, But page 204 has pin 6 on I47. But I wonder if the switches are broken in mine, since I could not get any two wires to close a ...

Re: EDM instrument in dash. What is it ?
I wonder if the first gen trim /w clock uses the same wiring pinout ? Is there a first gen EDM wiring diagram ? Perhaps it will give a clue as to the functions of some of the wires.

Re: EDM instrument in dash. What is it ?
I have a couple questions. Is this only applicable for second gen cars or is there one for first gen ones as well? Where did you get yours? I would like to try to get one. At that point I can probably help out a lot with wiring too. :) Does it still leave 2.5DIN for the stereo and pocket below or i...

A little thread necro. Well, a minor update. I have had this for a while and would like to figure out what "all" the wires do. Right now with Yellow and Black hooked up to power the display is "on" but very dim. The "Bright" Button does nothing. The H changes the hour M...

I was hoping for a complete one, but let me know what you want for the broken one. Might be able to make it work. Just requires more work to do so.
