Complete set of JDM EJ20G "hydraulic rocker heads". I ran these on my car for 2000 miles and they ran great! I am told these heads are good for 7500 rpm, but I had my redline set at 7000.

Everyone knows the JDM 2.0 heads flow great and the only beef with the early "hydraulic rocker style" heads ...

are the heads direct bolt on, any modifications to fit on our ej22t block?

I know it's a direct bolt on for EJ20 & EJ25 blocks, but I don't have any experience with the EJ22. I'm sure someone else will chime, in or you can find out with a search.

FWIW - The block is probably fine I believe ...

The following parts were pulled from a running JDM EJ20G "hydraulic rocker head" motor. I ran this engine for about 2000 miles and I can confirm everything worked perfectly when pulled. All prices are plus shipping, but I have a FEDEX ground account and shipping is cheap.

'97 to '99 EJ25 DOHC heads are a good option, 46cc chambers and more quench area than the EJ20Gs (not sure about the Ks).

Hey thanks for the post, that's good info! I looked into the USDM heads quite a bit and I think that would be my back up option, if I couldn't get a decent set of 2.0's ...

Since I originally wrote the message I have ruled out the early EJ20G heads due to the large (57cc) combustion chamber.

I'm looking for a complete set of Phase 1 JDM heads, preferably complete with cams, springs, valves, covers etc.

First choice would be a set of twin turbo heads or WRX heads with the small clover leaf style combustion chamber. Not looking for early ...
