whining
I am also expriencing some type of whining sound coming from the motor after the t belt install. I suspected it has something to do with the teeth of the timing belt needing some time to smooth out or break in. I also did not replace any idler pulleys or the belt tensioner because they seemed ok. al...

injector upgrade?
my motor started skipping today, so I went through the wires and found the bad cylinder, wires good, plugs getting spark, so I think the injector is bad cuz when I diconnected it with the engine running, nothing happened- just still skipping/ sputtering. Can I upgrade to a bigger injector just like ...

silver 5MT 94 T- leg in MA/ RI
I would love to find the previous owner of my car. It was bought at an auction somwhere in mass and it has a concord subaru decal on it. Some dents and dings on the front drivers side, and it appears to have been in a mild front end collision in the past. Whoever owned it had kids because I found al...

well I got it all back together myaelf no thanks to 2 different mechanics, one lined up the timing with the wrong mark, and the other told me I had a bent valve and tried to get me to buy a motor. She now runs like a champ even better than ever. The problem was that when I was finishing up and filli...

well I got the knock sensor in, and I really can feel improvement in acceleration, but she's still skipping and hesitating a little bit. Is it possible that the timing is off enough to make it stumble and hesitate during acceleration? I lined up all of the marks perfectly on the block/ pulleys/ belt...

well thanks again everyone! I just got it all back together and she started right up. I put all the marks right on lined up the belt properly and shazzam. Is it possible that there may have been some damage caused by trying to start the car with the timing way off like that? because the motor sounds...

thank you so much! that was his mistake. he lined the crank up with that arrow instead of the backside of the sprocket. what a dumbass. the only reason I say that is because he's been a mechanic for like 15 years. I want my money back ha! much props to you and legacy 777 and everyone else.

my two cents
I picked up a 94 ss in fair condition for 800. The motor only has 80 grand on the clock runs like a champ. I bought it from a shady used car dealer who didnt even know it was a turbo or awd, cuz the badges fell off. To be honest I wouldnt even sell my car for 3000 cuz Its such a nice car for the buc...
