get it. decent price as long as it doesnt need much else. you should be able to find a tranny for a decent price and while its out replace the clutch and seals.

you arent alone. i HATE the way im positioned in the car. if im having a bad day it always gets worse when i get in that car. my brother noticed it as well, i thought maybe it was just me. someone said that the newer cars are worse...the gf's 98 has much more space so i dont know where you got that ...

def remove the backseat and remove that cover. i made the mistake of using a bar to pry the shit out of my trunk lid to access my tools that were locked in the trunk (which are worth more than the car lol). just gotta flip back w/e you done and it should open.

moving along nicely. dont expect too much feedback on this forum... lol. whats nice about going through these cars is the reliability of the new parts. it will seem like forever before something else goes wrong and you'll find insignificant stuff to replace. have fun.

i was at the yard yesterday to see what subie goodies i could find and there was a 92 wagon with 170k, good engine and they wanted 200 for it (asked out of curiosity). this a fair price for a motor?

i miss driving 5 speed terribly, and i dont wanna give up this car, too many new parts lol. thanks for the info, it doesnt seem too difficult, just sourcing a fwd 5 speed tranny would be the biggest obstacle.
