You'll want to stick with copper gaskets. You can get new ones from any local auto parts store. While its nice to have ones that fit perfect it's not totally necessary. The pressure from the banjo bolt is enough to make a less than perfect fitting banjo bolt washer/gasket seal nicely.

Turning the key before depressing the clutch to fully on whatever it is called, allows fuel to be pumped and Fresh oil to be pumped through the turbo, Keeping it from Starting on old dry oil, of course it wont matter unless in the long run, eventually damaging your turbo, i think?

Turbo timers are mainly for non-cooled turbos. You can run one but its not absolutely necessary since the TD04 stays relatively cool with respect to the fact that it has coolant running through it.

The above explanation of priming a turbo confuses me so could you fully explain what you mean.

It's hard to say if you'll have up-pipe clearance issues. It looks to me as though your up-pipe is routed where a normal OE downpipe would go but since you're using a different turbo and therefore different downpipe you may get away with it for clearance.

I have one from an 02 and two from 04's. The one currently on my car is one of from an 04.

All I know is that all three TD04's I've put on my 98 OBS that came from WRX's all boost 8 psi. This is the wastegate spring pressure using no boost controller.

Do WRX's have boost controllers that allow them to boost 14 psi?

I thought the wastegate actuator in conjunction with the wastegate itself controlled how much boost your turbo makes.

An exhaust leak will show itself at all levels of operation and be most noticable at acceleration of any kind. I really do know the difference as I've dealt with both of them before.

It's unlike me to follow-up one brain fart with another of not only equal but of greater proportions.

They haven't released pricing yet but if it follows the industry trend it will likely be in the $1500 range.
