Nope, no overheating. It doesn't smoke right when started, it takes about 20 seconds to start and then does so till its up to operating temp. There is condesate in the exhuast as I can see droplets accumulating at the exhuast tip, but the smoke hangs in the air a little bit making me things its not ...

Blown/leaking head gasket?
I have seen a couple things I think are symptoms of a craked/blown head gasket in my 92' SS. If it has been sitting for a week or so it will smoke a light white smoke till its warmed up then the smoke goes away. Secondly, If I remove the radiator cap after starting (cold engine) and then rev it a li...

Sorry to say, but the rack you put in (unless it's an STi or non-USDM rack) is actually slightly slower. Read my thread on it. If you put new steering rack bushings on in the installation process, that's probably where your increased steering feel came from. Yeah, I think you're right. I did bushin...

03 steering rack & pinion install on 92' SS
I went to my local Suby junk yard to source a 98 GT Rack to install on my 92. Mine was shot and I had read on here how installing a 98 LGT rack would be a slight upgrade, a little newer and bolt right on. The parts guy at Super Rupair (Boulder, CO) informed me that any rack from a 90 to a 04 legacy ...

Yellow Top 440cc injectors & Walbro 255lph w/kit for sal
After sitting in my garage for a couple months I've decided not to upgrade my fuel system so the parts are up for sale. The injectors are yellow tops out of a MY99 STi. I know of one other member of this forum who has these same injectors and he said the fit right into the stock EJ22t fuel rails wit...

Front limit switch location (auto seat belt)
I finally got around to digging into why my passenger side seat belt doesn't go forward and found an obvious problem. The electrical connector at the front of the track was just hanging there not plugged into anything. I beleive this plugs into the front limit switch, but after looking in the footwe...

How is that a stage 2 clutch? What exactly determines if something is stage 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 whatever? That's exactly what I wanted to know... What available NA clutch kits have more holding power than a stock unit? I only plan on turning up the boost on my td-04 (no need for a bigger turbo), so I don...

Clutch options
My 92 had the auto swapped out for a 93 NA manual tranny and the clutch is starting to slip in 4th and 5th gear. So what are my options as far as upgrading my clutch? What fits, clutches for the SS manual or clutches for the NA manual? Would this work?: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/93-00-LEGACY-IM...

Gonzo, I see no mention of a FCD mentioned anywhere in this thread. You are currently about 1-1.5psi from hitting fuel cut. If you want to go any higher you will need to either make one or buy one. It's in my original post. I have one but haven't put it on yet, was waiting to see what was safe. dzx...

Well, I was in Chaska, not that close to brainerd but a heck of alot closer than CO. I was able to hit 149mph on the front srtaight with my STi and you're putting down more hp than an STi...You'll for sure get the 'puckered' feeling  Wow, thats pretty good on the 22t heads! Oh yeah, I remeber...
