I don't feel the air coming from the dash vents, more like from the floor and the top of the dash where it comes out for defrost....not sure if something's not closing like it should.

Climate controls/tranny ?'s

What could this be??? Also, there are two buttons on/near...

Yeah, the price on my quote list says 129.95. I am going to have them show me the hub so that I can know it was bad lol. I've been running this car on this since we bought it, its just gotten worse...so yeah, its quite possible that the hub is shot now.

I don't know, he didn't say. Just said the wheel bearings and hub were bad. I should ask him. I will call him tomorrow and find out, he's not in the shop today.

It has needed an alignment before this, as we had the front struts replaced.

Its not just the bearing they're replacing tho, the hub is bad too...and it needs alignment. I don't have a choice, it has to be done. I guess I can call around and see if I can find a better price...

Turns out its a wheel bearing/hub that is bad on the right front wheel. I took it in yesterday, and they showed me the play in the wheel when they shook it. Moved back and forth really badly. YIKES! Anyhoo, here's to another freakin $410 that we cannot afford to get fixed right now:(

Guy at muffler shop said he couldn't find a leak, and the muffler itself has a cover on it, that's what has holes in it. He said the car seem to be running rich....great, so another thing to try and tackle.

Rack and pinion?

Ok guys, so I took the subaru to meineke today to find out what the heck was going on with my car. I've been getting some rather unsettling popping noises in the front of the car when I turn or go over bumps. The guys at Meineke said that the rack and pinion was bad and needed to be replaced. They s...

I can not pull up the mechanisms once they're locked in place, IE when they're seated in place when I shut the door.
I CAN however, pull them back towards the back of the door partway...I dont know if that has any bearing on it.

n2x4 wrote:Check the plug under the drivers seat. It should have a connector in it that runs up to the seat belt. That may be cut/disconnected. You can try connecting those two wires together and see if that turns off the light.
That connector is good, I already tried that...

It works, the seatbelt goes in and latches. BUT, the light does not go off. I do not have any chimes either...do not know if that has anything to do with it.

Exhaust smell

I have an exhaust smell that comes into the driver side window when its rolled down...my dad had checked the manifolds to see if they were tight..they are. The only thing he thinks it could be is the gasket where the pipes meet in the middle of the exhaust....does this sound like a possibility? If s...
