When I unplug the idle air valve the rpms go up. When I took off the electrical part off the top , I could open and close the plate inside. Can the electrical part on top go bad?

Theres no vacuum leak and the controller that is on the cruise cable holds vacuum. I traced the vacuum line to another part with a 4 wire plug. Could that be the problem? Can I test that?

Sweet lookin rides :D . I would rather stick with a Subaru wheel than a cheap peice of garbage wheel . Are the gt wheels hard to get a hold of and how pricey?

I live in Ellsworth, bout 16 miles from Washington. I've made some house calls to McMurray to work on some Mercedes.

Cold start and idle issues.

When I bought my legacy , I swapped the engine from a newer legacy. From the first time I fired it up, It doesn't like to idle cold. I had to give it gas to keep it going so I adjusted the throtle cable to keep it running. Once it warms up its fine and has no problem restarting. If the temp. is belo...

I have a 90 legacy wagon 5 spd and the cruise gave out on me during a long trip. After that it would work for about 10 miles then give out. When I push the cruise button I hear a clicking sound behind passenger side dashboard. Any clue?
