Re: H/O alternator help? Please

to increase your selection of alternators you can install the wiring from 2000 up model cars. They have the green plug 3 wire setup. I don't recall if i changed the pins to make it plug n play but its an upgrade vs the original

the heat and bend method will increase the choice of lips you can use. I had one from an astro/safari van fit on my 00 forester

I change these all the time for many different subaru models. I use 20 ton press too. I use grease to install the new parts together. The most reliable brands are skf, nsk, fag

Re: Front lips for an NA bumper?

to get a better fit use a heat gun and bend the lip of your choice to the car. I attach the ends at the wheels then heat, bend, and add screws etc as I go from one side tot the other. Use the low setting on the heat gun

Re: Looking for 4.11 5 spd swap in Canada/WA or parts car

you might want to raise your budget. Even with used parts you will need a new clutch and machined or new flywheel.
my swap on my old wagon cost around $1000 and that was 4 years ago included mostly used parts too

the best bet is to get some 3d printed. I have the entire trim set from a 92-94. I might remove mine just to make 3d copies
