my car ran lean with stock pump and 550 tune. switching to a walbro fixed that issue instantly

Another reason to take apart and check every little piece you get in a swap. I was having over boosting issues, took the restrictor pill out of the compressor to wastegate vac line to find it was plugged solid with corrosion. Wastegate never saw any boost so never opened.

Thanks man! The top hat covers were factory but seem to be rare to get. I found mine at a wrecker. They help a ton for keeping dirt out of the bay when you have adjustable tophats that allow for a gap at the top

Yea the custom downpipe is a must. All the aftermarket downpipes are too long.
