2005 GT Turbo Tranny Interchange

Hey all, I found a 2005 Legacy Turbo Sedan that has a bad manual trans. I was wondering if another 5mt would work with the Legacy, say a wrx/forester/outback trans? I don't even know the gearing in the diff of the 2005 Legacy Gt trans? If anyone knows of a reasonably priced manual trans, I would be ...

Coolant sensor location needed asap

I found a post that explained where the sensor for the temp gauge was located, but I couldn't find it on the car. I have a 1994 Touring wagon. When I took it to a mechanic to change the oil pan gasket, I asked him to take a look. I replaced the plastic coolant tank with one from a wrx, and I believe...

Hey,

I have a pair of tweeters out of a 1998? Legacy Wagon, these mount in place of the plastic trip behind the mirror. They wouldn't fit my older legacy or my forester.

I emailed the guy and he said the body was "fair", the photos shows the passenger fender is shot, so is the rocker and the door, and it appears the hood is dented. It looks really beat.

WTB: Vaccum Canister

Hey, I am in need of a vacuum canister for a 1994 Touring Wagon. It needs to have three nipples, just like my ex girlfriend. :P Seriously though, this is the black can looking thing on the behind the passenger headlight. I could glue it, but I am lazy, and I rather not have to worry about it in the ...

Looks like the same routing that I went with. I did get the lower hose to fit, but it is leaking, I need to put a regular hose clamp on it, and (or) just get a longer hose.

Did you use your original cap or the wrx one?

WRX coolant tank questions and vaccum canister

Hey, I have two questions, I was working on a grounding kit the other day and ended up with a broken nipple on the coolant tank. I bought a wrx coolant tank and went to install it today. I was unsure of where to mount it, so I kept it in the same location, but I am not sure what to do about securing...

94 Fender Winestone

Hey, I finally located a matching fender for my 1994 TW,. I thought I would see if anyone with a rusted out bottom fender needed the section from the marker down (the fender has some damage near the corner light). I did this to a friends car once, I just cut behind the marker light, and pop riveted ...

They are used, but I have seven, if I buy one more I have two sets. 8) Anyhow, I had the tires lying around, wasn't sure what rims I was going to put them on. I had my old forester wheels with the stock tall michelin tires, and nobody wanted to buy them. So I mounted the rally tires and called it a ...
