Thank you I reset the ecu and it has not thrown the codes again so far. The speedo works fine and I will look at your link about the idle switch.

Codes 23 33 43. 92 legacy turbo

I have a cel for 22 knock sensor 33 speed sensor And 42 idle switch? When I let off the gas the car shakes and shutters and it has a rough idle. It's a 92 legacy turbo manual transmission. Where should I start is there any known issues that would throw these 3 codes?

newish with a 92 legacy turbo

I haven't been on in a long time i have had 3 legacy turbos and an 03 wrx but i defiantly prefer the t leg. I am painting my other wheels gold today im not sure if they will look right on my car though but we will see.

Its good to hear that my motor is ok. So a new belt and new idlers and it will be OK That scared the shit out of me I thought the motor was toast.

Yesterday I was driving about 35mph in my 92 legacy turbo when I herd a pop and the car died. I popped the hood I could see the timing belt, it broke the timing cover :roll: . The motor is all oem I did put a td04 with a fmic, 3inch tbe, and an intake. 8) I am super exited about this!

Ok I got a new rad cap and it is still blowing bubbles. :roll: Is there anything other than a rad cap that can cos this to happen?

Ok I will try that. I think its the head gasket though...it smells like gas kinda but the car idles well, holds boost I never see white smoke except in the rain or snow but, I can smell coolant out side of the car it has 222thousand miles on it also. So I just got a 92 legacy turbo there is a bubble in the coolant overflow every few secants when the car is on. Should I be worried is this normal? I have herd a leak in the head gasket can make this happen. And how hard is it to pull the motor and replace them I had a wrx before this so I have done...
