ej22t with ej20g heads?
OK! Now i'm a bit confused. Some say that ej20g heads will fit the ej22t block with no modifications, and some say that the compression will be to low, like 7.4:1. The car is a 93 legacy turbo, ej22t, manual transmission. So my questions are: -What needs to be done for a head swap? -Headgasket from ...

Re: Trannie question..
It's from a 93 turbo i'm thinking of buying. its an EJ22t..
The reason for asking about horsepower is that i got 16valve headers from my last legacy turbo with an EJ20GN engine. I'm going to fit new headers, intercooler and a TD05 turbo.
And off topic: Will the intake fit the ej20gn headers?

I fitted a STi hoodscoop on my legacy a while back. Did not like it at all at first, but now i do. I get a lot of wierd looks when i drive around, but when i step on it they look at it a bit different  Going at 22psi now with a TD05 turbo  Let me know what you think of this crazy o...

Re: Impreza clutch
Well, the clutch is just days away, so i guess i'll see in a few days if it fits or not. It's a stage 2 WRX clutch with a 9lbs flywheel. Dont think i'll be driving down town to much with that clutch

Impreza clutch
Hi.
Can i use an impreza clutch and flywheel on my legacy? It's a MY93 turbo with EJ20GN engine. I've passed 300hp and need a stronger clutch.

TD05 on it's way
With a 90* elbow and all the fittings.
Just wondering.. How much bigger is it than the VF8? And is the VF8 bigger than a TD04?

What to do?
My VF8 has started to spit out oil and making wierd noises. So, what turbo do i choose with my mods? I got a watercooled TMIC, 3" open neck- no cat exhaust, K&N panel airfilter, 440cc injectors. Running 19psi witch is pretty much what a vf8 can handle. In a few weeks i'll get a walbro 255 f...

i've fixed the problem. Just made a small vacuum leak so that the vacuum levels out. and the car is actually running better on idle and normal driving. before i made the leak, the engine misfired sometimes and unstable idlespeed. all that is gone now :o kinda wierd. I need an AFR meter asap so i can...

It's an european car, and i live in Norway :) First of all, The engine you are talking about is the EJ20G, witch is found in Impreza GT from 94-98, and has open deck. 99-00 has EJ205, witch i think i semi-closed. This i am surtain of, cause i've rebuilt quite alot of subaru engines. The engine in my...

I'm wondering if there is a way to get rid of my "one coil per sparkplug" ignition, and fit an Impreza GT coilpack. Whats needed of parts? I allready have a coil and wires.
